Ernest J. DeWald, DDS, MAGD, ABGD
Dr. Ernest J. DeWald is active in Clarksville and the dental community, holding offices in local, state and national organizations. His community activities include volunteering for Hospice and Good Samaritan Ministries Dental Clinic. He is on the staff at Clarksville Gateway Memorial Hospital. He is a member of the Sunrise Rotary Club and Bethel Cumberland Presbyterian Church serving as Elder and Sunday School Teacher. He retired as a Colonel with over 21 years in the Army Dental Corps, the last 7 years as a director of both one and two year general dentistry residency programs. He is a Fellow and Master of the Academy of General Dentistry, and a diplomat and Board Member of the American Board of General Dentistry.


E. Mac Edington, Jr., DDS, MAGD, ABGD
Dr. E. 'Mac' Edington is active in the national dental community and is a Past President of the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), the 2nd largest dental organization in the world. He is a Fellow and Master of the AGD and a Founder and Past President of the American Board of General Dentistry. His activities include Clarksville Rotary and University of Tennessee College of Dentistry Alumni Board. He is also a Past President of the University of Tennessee Dental Alumni Association and was recognized as the 2005 College of Dentistry outstanding alumnus. He retired as a Colonel with over 30 years in the Army Dental Corps - the last 14 as Dental Commander and Dental Surgeon. In 2006 Dr. Edington was nominated for Ambassador of the Year with the Better Business Bureau.


Carol Montee, DMD, FAGD and Stan Montee, DMD, FAGD
Dr. Carol Montee attended Villanova University and earned her BS in Biology in three years. She subsequently received her Doctorate in Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) in 2004 from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Montee has attended numerous advanced education courses in general dentistry, orthodontics and dental sleep medicine in order to provide her patients the most up to date dental care available and she earned her Fellowship Award in the Academy of General Dentistry in 2011.

Dr. Stan Montee is a native Californian and earned his BS in Biology from the University of San Francisco. In 2004, he earned his D.M.D. from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine where he also received the Martin J. Loeb leadership award, Certificate of Merit in recognition of excellence in Oral Diagnosis, and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry pre-doctoral award.

Prior to college, Dr. Montee spent 4 years as a US Marine where he deployed to Somalia as part of Operation United Shield. In 2008, Dr. Stan completed four years with the US Army where he was stationed at Ft. Campbell, KY.

He is dedicated to the philosophy of life long learning and has recently been awarded a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD). In 2004, he completed the competitive Advanced Education in General Dentistry–1 year residency. Dr. Montee has taken extensive courses in cosmetic dentistry, most recently completing the University of Minnesota's Post Graduate Course in Esthetic Dentistry. Married to Dr. Carol Montee, they met while attending the University of Pennsylvania. They have three children and are happy to make Clarksville their home.

Both belong to the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry,Tennessee Dental Assocation, International Association of Orthodontics, American Orthodontic Society, and the American Society of Dental Anesthesia.
