 Ernest J.
DeWald, DDS
Dr. Ernest J.
DeWald is active in Clarksville and the dental community, holding offices in
local, state and national organizations. His community activities include
volunteering for Hospice and Good Samaritan Ministries Dental Clinic. He is on
the staff at Clarksville Memorial Hospital. He is a member of the Sunrise Rotary
and Bethel Cumberland Presbyterian Church serving as Elder and Sunday School
Teacher. He retired as a Colonel with over 21 years in the Army Dental Corps,
the last 7 years as a director of both one and two year general dentistry
residency programs. He is a Fellow and Master of the Academy of General
Dentistry, and a diplomat and Board Member of the American Board of General
Dentistry.
E. Mac Edington, Jr., DDS
Dr. E. 'Mac' Edington is active in the
national dental community and is a Past President of the Academy of General Dentistry
(AGD), the 2nd largest dental organization in the world. He is a Fellow and
Master of the AGD and a Founder and Past President of the American Board of
General Dentistry. His activities include Clarksville Rotary and University of
Tennessee College of Dentistry Alumni Board. He is also a Past President
of the University of Tennessee Dental Alumni Association and was recognized as
the 2005 College of Dentistry outstanding alumnus. He retired as a
Colonel with over 30 years in the Army Dental Corps - the last 14 as Dental
Commander and Dental Surgeon. In 2006 Dr. Edington was nominated for
Ambassador of the Year with the Better Business Bureau.
